Flying into Brisbane with a bag of dirty laundry? A real overnight turnaround
They called at 8pm. Checkout was 10am the next morning. The laundry was back — washed, dried and folded — by 8am. Here's how it worked.
The call
A customer flew into Brisbane for a short stay. Somewhere between the meetings and the dinners, the laundry got forgotten.
At 8pm they realised: checkout was at 10am the next morning, and they had a bag of dirty clothes and no time to deal with it.
They called us.
What we did
- We collected the laundry that evening from where they were staying
- It was washed, dried and folded overnight
- It was back with them at 8am the next morning — two hours before checkout
They packed clean, folded clothes and left on time.
Can we do this every time?
Honestly — no. This is not our standard service, and we won't promise it.
Our normal turnaround is the next business day. An overnight job like this depends on how much is already booked that night and how much laundry there is.
But when we can make it work, we will. That's the difference with a local, owner-run service: you're talking to the person who does the washing, not a call centre. If there's a way to get it done, we'll find it.

How to ask for an urgent job
- Text or call 0468 097 087 as early as you can — the earlier, the better your chances
- Tell us where you're staying and when you need it back (your checkout or flight time)
- Tell us roughly how much laundry there is
- We'll tell you straight away whether we can do it, and confirm the price before we collect
Urgent jobs start from our normal pricing — $66 inc GST for the first 2 loads, then $27.50 inc GST per extra load. An extra pickup like this usually adds one extra load ($27.50 inc GST), and we confirm the total before we collect.
