For salons

Salon laundry, handled without stealing time from your chair

Brisbane salons run through towels, capes, gowns, and headbands faster than almost any business. The Washing Club picks up your laundry, washes it professionally, dries and folds it, and delivers it back — so your stylists stay with clients instead of swapping loads in the back room.

  • Free pickup and delivery across Brisbane
  • Towels, capes, gowns, headbands, smocks, kitchen linens
  • Light and dark colour separation handled for you
  • Minimum 2 loads — perfect for small to mid-size salons
  • Pay only for the wash. GST shown clearly before booking.

Sound familiar?

It's 2pm Friday. You're slammed.

Your junior who normally runs the laundry called in sick this morning and you forgot to put a load on overnight. The 2pm client is in the chair, you've just finished a colour, and you go to grab a fresh towel from the warmer — empty. The basin towels are damp. The cape stack is half what it should be.

You're about to either ask a paying client to use a slightly-damp towel from yesterday, or pull a stylist off the floor for 90 minutes to do a laundromat run at peak time. Either option costs you. The damp towel gets noticed — even if she's too polite to say. The laundromat run kills half a haircut booking at the busiest part of the week.

Why it never happens with us: A regular weekly or twice-weekly pickup means this never happens. Towels arrive folded the morning of your busiest day, regardless of whether your junior called in sick. The laundry stops being a load-bearing part of your operation — it's just there, done, on the shelf.

What we wash for salons

Hair towels, treatment towels, hand towels, capes, gowns, neck strips that wash, smocks, kitchen and break-room linens — anything machine-washable that runs through a salon day. If you're using disposables to avoid the laundry pile, you're paying more than you need to.

Loads are separated by colour and fabric where required. Heavy darks (toner-stained black towels) are kept separate from whites and capes so colours don't transfer. A separate light/dark requirement may count as a separate load.

Why salons switch from in-house washing

The hidden cost of in-house laundry is staff hours. A junior or front-of-house team member running loads is a junior team member not greeting clients, restocking retail, or moving the next booking through. Across a busy week, that's hours of paid time spent in front of a washing machine.

On top of that: water, electricity, detergent, machine wear, towel replacement from over-washing on home machines. When you actually add it up, outsourced laundry is usually cheaper than the time it replaces — and it removes a recurring operational headache.

How booking works

Book a pickup on the home page. Choose a date and time that suits your day — early morning before opening is popular, as is end of trade. We collect from your reception or back-of-house, wash, dry, fold, and deliver clean linen back on your scheduled return day.

First 2 loads is a flat $60 + GST (this is the minimum booking and includes free pickup and delivery). Each additional load is $25 + GST. One load is up to 5kg. There's no contract — book when you need us.

Frequently asked

Do you wash colour-treated towels separately?
Yes. If your darks need to stay separate to prevent dye transfer onto whites or capes, that counts as a separate load. We discuss separation requirements at pickup so nothing surprises you.
Can you collect end of day and deliver before opening?
In most Brisbane suburbs, yes. We confirm pickup and delivery windows when you book. For tight turnarounds, lock in your regular slot and we'll keep it.
Do you handle salon uniforms?
Yes, salon-branded uniforms wash with the rest of your laundry. Flag specialty fabrics in the notes when you book.
