What we collect

When you book a pickup — through the website form, the webchat, or by texting our booking line — we collect what we need to do the job: your name, business name (if you're a business), mobile number and/or email, the pickup address, and what needs washing.

Conversations with our AI booking assistant (webchat and SMS) are stored, so Bruce can review your request and confirm your booking. Nothing is booked until he does.

What we use it for

Bookings, and running them well: confirming your pickup time by text, collecting and returning your laundry, invoicing, and the occasional follow-up like asking how your pickup went. That's it.

We don't sell your details, and we don't share them with anyone except the services that run our bookings and messages (our booking platform and SMS provider).

Analytics on this website

We use analytics tools to understand how visitors use this site so we can improve it — including Vercel Analytics, Google Analytics, Meta (Facebook) tools for our advertising, and Microsoft Clarity, which records how pages are used (clicks and scrolling). Anything you type into a form is masked, not recorded.

These tools use cookies or similar technology. None of them give us your identity — they show us how the site is used, not who you are.

Text messages

Our booking line (0468 097 087) is answered by an AI agent, 24/7. If you text it, you'll get replies about your booking. Reply STOP any time and we'll stop messaging you.

Your rights

Ask any time to see what details we hold about you, to correct them, or to have them removed — email bruce@thewashing.club or text 0468 097 087. We handle personal information in line with Australian privacy law.
