Flat per-load pricing for Brisbane laundry pickup and delivery. You know the price when you book. No pickup fee, no fuel surcharge, no contract.

The Washing Club is an owner-operated laundry pickup and delivery service in Brisbane. We wash, dry and fold household laundry and business towels and linen. Standard pricing is $66 including GST for the first 2 loads, then $27.50 per additional load, with each load up to 5kg. New customers get $33 off their first order — their first 2 loads for $33 — until 30 November 2026. Pickup and delivery are free within our listed Brisbane service area, Monday to Friday, normally in the evening (5–8pm), or daytime (9am–3pm) by request. We aim to return orders the next business day.

One load is up to 5kg. We confirm the load count at pickup, and any extra charge below is confirmed with you before we wash, so nothing is added after the fact.
One flat rate, whatever the size. There are no volume tiers to work out and no minimum-pickups-per-month deal — $66 covers the first two loads and every load after that is $27.50. If you have an unusually large or regular run, talk to us and we'll quote it properly.
Extra charges, only when they apply
Most bookings never see these. When one applies, we tell you before we wash.
King-size doona
Charged as 2 loads ($55 on top of other loads), because most weigh 10kg or more.
Separate washes
If items must be washed apart — lights and darks, for example — each wash can count as its own load. We tell you at pickup.
Hygiene fee
Pet urine, soiled cloth nappies and other biohazards: one extra load ($27.50) for each machine used, so we can sanitise it.
Urgent extra pickup
An urgent pickup outside your normal schedule usually adds one extra load ($27.50). Urgent timing is never guaranteed.
Hand-washing
Available for delicate items. Quoted per item, by size and time, before you book.
We don't iron, dry clean or guarantee stain removal.
How we compare to per-kg services
Per-load vs per-kg — what you actually pay
Some laundry pickup services charge per kilogram, and some add a pickup fee, a fuel surcharge or a minimum charge on top. Whoever you compare, ask for the total, not just the rate.
With per-kg pricing, the total depends on the weight, which usually isn't known until the laundry has been collected and weighed. That can make the cost hard to forecast.
We charge per load (up to 5kg per load) at a flat rate, so you can work out the price before you book. There's no pickup fee and no fuel surcharge, and the few extra charges that can apply are listed above and confirmed before we wash.

- 1. Is there a pickup fee or fuel surcharge?Some services charge a separate pickup fee or fuel surcharge on top of the rate. Ask for the total, not just the rate.
- 2. Is the quoted price what I'll be invoiced?If the price depends on weight, or the quote is "a guide", ask when you'll know the final cost.
- 3. Is there a minimum order or minimum monthly spend?Some services have a minimum charge per pickup or a minimum number of pickups per month. Ours is 2 loads ($66) per pickup. Make sure the minimum suits your real volume — there's no point committing to weekly if your actual rhythm is fortnightly.
- 4. Is there a contract?Some services ask for a longer commitment. We don't — you book each pickup as you need it, scale up around event weeks, scale down for quiet ones, cancel any time without penalty.
- 5. Are there extra charges for ironing, delicate items or separation?Per-item ironing charges can quietly blow out a quote. We don't iron (we said so upfront), but if a service does, ask for the per-item rate. Same for "delicate" handling and dark/light separation — some services charge extra for both.
